Quick Workflow
- 1. Choose your Conversion Mode (Audio, MP4, GIF, or Subtitles & Karaoke).
- 2. Drag and drop your video files into the dropzone.
- 3. Customize settings (Quality, Loudness, Lyrics, Visual Styles).

Conversion Modes Explained
Extract audio
• Extract Audio (MP3 / WAV / AAC): Extracts the sound track from video clips at customizable bitrates (128k, 192k, 320k) or uncompressed WAV.
Convert or optimize MP4
• Convert & Optimize MP4: Re-encodes WebM and video files to universal MP4 (H.264 / AAC) with customizable quality (CRF), resolution scaling (1080p, 720p, 480p), and speed.
Video to GIF
• Video to GIF / WebP: Generates smooth animated GIFs or modern animated WebP files with two-pass palette optimization and interactive visual cropping.
Subtitles & Karaoke
• Subtitles & Karaoke Studio: Create TikTok/Shorts pop captions or Karaoke videos. Paste lyrics, sync in real-time with spacebar, and burn styled subtitles into MP4.
EBU R128 Loudness Normalization
EBU R128 (Loudness Normalization) is the broadcast and streaming standard used by Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, and Netflix. When enabled, it balances the volume across different clips, preventing quiet audio or sudden jarring loud peaks without introducing distortion.

Advanced Video Tools
- • Speed Control: Slow down video (0.25×, 0.5×, 0.75×) or speed it up (1.5×, 2×) with automatic audio pitch and tempo synchronization.
- • Subtitle Burn-In (.srt / .vtt / .ass): Hardcodes subtitles directly into the video stream with styled borders and crisp readability.
- • Replace Audio Track: Lets you add a custom music track (.mp3, .wav) to mute the background noise or create music videos.
- • Color & Style Filters: Apply quick contrast, vivid saturation, black & white, or cinematic warm grading with zero rendering lag.
- • Save Frame (JPEG): Instantly snapshot the current frame at full resolution without waiting for video processing.
How Local Privacy Works
Unlike typical online converters that upload your confidential video clips to remote cloud servers, BeeTales executes a compiled C/C++ FFmpeg engine inside a WebAssembly sandbox in your browser. All computations happen in local RAM, making it safe for private footage, copyrighted materials, and offline work.
